Trump: Trump University Had a 98 Percent Approval Rating

"By the way, a school, little deal, but very, I loved it. When it was there. They call it Trump University. But I will tell you, just so you understand on the school, the school had 98 percent approval rating. But you had an attorney that felt oh, maybe I can sue Trump and get something, the school had a 98 percent, in other word, 98 percent of the people that took the courses we signed report cards. You can’t settle a case like that. You put somebody up on the stand. The most beautiful thing, tle did a commercial, took it down, where two people were saying negative. Then we showed them the statement that they wrote. They had to take the commercial down. 98% of the people that took the course, that took the courses, said really wonderful things about it. Other thing, it got on a, an a, from the better business bureau. So how do I settle a case like this? B plus would be okay, too. But we did better than B plus. So I can’t — and here is one thing I say about business. I watch these bankers. And they get millions of dollars year. 40, $50 million. Frankly, ridiculous. Then settle with the government if they are sued by the government for $2 billion, $3 billion, $5 billion, $12 billion. I say, why don’t you fight it? Well, it’s the government, we don’t want it fight. I say, you got to fight it. If you don’t fight it, everyone will sue you. They settle for $2 billion. Next week they are sued again. You have to do what’s right. I knew I could get bad publicity, but I have to do what the right. Do we agree with that, by wait."
