MATTHEWS: “You know, the Democrats have got to stop all this spending. I mean, I -- my wife loves to argue. She's a big Democrat. She says, you know, the economy's in great shape. I said, yeah, the more government government spends money, the more it does, the more it jacks up prices. It just does."
SCARBOROUGH: "Yeah."
MATTHEWS: "That's what you do during a recession. You spend more money. If you spend more money, the prices of things go up. And that's a fact. And the Democrats never addressed that.”
