HALPERIN: "If you look at the comparison between Romney in 2012, that was a weakness for him, the car elevator and the $10,000 bet on stage with Rick Perry. His wealth was a weakness. For trump it’s not. It’s been part of his strength. He flaunts what he’s got. He’s got the plane and does the interviews in his gold apartment. Maybe he’s not paying as many taxes as he should be, maybe he’s not sporting charities as Romney has said but he seems to me to have less to hide by putting his taxes out there than Romney did who Romney was worried about running into that image of him as a plutocrat."
