‘I don’t know how President Obama thinks that he’s helping us, because we can’t afford this’

PA Small Biz Hit With Skyrocketing Health Costs From Obamacare (Washington Free Beacon)

In the latest example of Obamacare’s harmful effect on American small businesses, Simonetta’s Collision Repair Center, a small business in Pennsylvania, is seeing huge premium and deductible increases for its employees’ health insurance plans, WTAE-PA reports.

Last year’s premium increase of 6% jumped fivefold to a 32% increase this year. The employees with children had their deductibles doubled from $2000-$4000. Co-pays would rise from $20 to $40.

“They call it the ‘Affordable Health Plan’. There’s nothing affordable about it. I can’t afford it,” Jeff, one of Simonetta’s employees, said.

The owner of the small business, Gary Simonetta, saw his premium surge by over $500 per month, an increase of 63%.
