Sam Stein: Code Pink Co-Founder Praised Trump for Iraq War, 9/11 Remarks in the Debate

TRUMP: “The World Trade Center came down during your broth reign, remember that.” (Booing) 
BUSH: "He had the gal to go after my mother. I won the lottery when I was born 63 years ago and saw my mom. My mom is the strongest woman I know.”
TRUMP: “She should be running.”

STEIN: “All right. I have to read this quote. I e-mailed Medea Benjamin, the co-founder of the anti-war group Code Pink. Everyone knows Code Pink. I e-mailed her for her reaction to this. She writes me, 'Honestly, on this issue, Trump has gone farther than even Bernie Sanders. It was great.' That is remarkable for the leading Republican candidate —“
WALLACE: “You realize you just got yourself into an ad, right?”
STEIN: “Yes, sure. That’s what I’m hoping for. I want to clicks.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Katty, it was shocking, it was shocking.”
STEIN: “I don’t think it’s going to cost him.”
WALLACE: “That’s the question.”
SCARBOROUGH: “If you look at the reaction which, I’ve got to say, I thought it was going to blow up against him. But if you look at the reaction, it hasn’t and what it suggests is the Republicans don’t want to fight the Iraq war question because I think most of them quietly think that they got it wrong.”
