Trump: People Are Not ‘Mortified’ by My Candidacy

‘They may be not happy, but mortified is a different kind of a word’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

KING: “Where is this coming from? I hear two schools of thought, people are excited about your candidacy or mortified.”
TRUMP: “I don’t think mortified.”
KING: “No, I’ve heard mortified.”
TRUMP: “Well, they may be not happy but mortified is a different kind of word.”
ROSE: “Politicians worry they will lose the senate and they are worried they will lose house if you are head of the ticket.”
TRUMP: “Polls are coming out and showing I will beat Hillary Clinton easily and I think — I don’t know about the other one. I think the other one will be easy if Bernie gets it. I can’t imagine it is possible, charge a 95 percent tax. I will do something different than anybody else. I have a chance of winning New York. You look at the politicians and they talk about the six states, this one with, that one, Ohio, Florida. I can change the game because I have a chance at New York. I’m going to win Virginia, certain states, Michigan as an example.”
ROSE: “Can you win South Carolina?”
TRUMP: “I’m going to win South Carolina.”
