Christie Defends Being Friendly with Clinton

DOOCY: “One of Rubio’s supporters put out a tweet yesterday, we want — says Chris Christie sure does likes to give hug love to some odd people. Here he is getting some sugar from Hillary apparently, a couple of days ago over on the CNN show. And then you put out a tweet that showed you and Hillary and it said coming this November, so it’s kind of a different points of view, same event.”
CHRISTIE: “Yeah. Same event. You know, said hello to the secretary. I’m a kind, warm, wonderful person.”
DOOCY: “Oh, I think so.”
CHRISTIE: “Right? And so — and I’ll tell you this much, when I get on the stage with Senator Clinton in September she’ll know I’m there and she’ll know I’m representing the Republican Party in a very different point of view from her.”
CARLSON: “How many people you hugged in New Hampshire since —“ (Laughter)
CHRISTIE: “The thousands.”
CARLSON: “There’s been some hugging.”
CHRISTIE: “Thousands of hugs. Yes. Thousands of hugs. I [indecipherable] one knee yesterday at the town hall meeting for an undecided voter.”
CARLSON: “I hope you win the vote.”
CHRISTIE: “Yes, I did. Listen Tucker, it’s all but results baby. (Laughter) It’s all but results. Whatever you need to do, you do.”
