Christie Camp: Chris Didn’t Go Too Far When He Said He Would Beat Clinton’s Rear End

‘Democrats in New Jersey don’t matter’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

JANSING: “One of the clear things we heard is electability. He has been going after Hillary Clinton. Let me play something that’s been getting a lot of attention.”
[clip starts]
CHRISTIE: “She has been running away from the federal prosecutors for the last six months. (Laughter) (Applause) And she sees a federal prosecutor on the stage, I will beat her rear end on that stage. And you know what? After I do, she will be relieved because I will serve her with a subpoena.”
[clip ends]
JANSING: “The Democrats here in New Jersey call that childish and inappropriate as well as reflecting the tendency for violence and misogyny.”
MAIOLA: “They don’t matter here. The Democrats in New Jersey don’t matter.”
JANSING: “Did he go a little too far?”
MAIOLA: “I don’t think. That’s all part of the last week and people get excited and they are getting the crowd stirred up. Suddenly you are offended by something that he would say you are offensive. We are stretching it a bit.”
JANSING: “Good luck in the last week.”
