Jimmy Carter: ‘I Would Choose Trump’ over Cruz; Trump Is ‘Completely Malleable’

“If I had a choice of Republican nominees — let’s just say for instance between Cruz and Trump — I think I would choose Trump, which may surprise some of you. But the reason is that Trump has proven already that he’s completely malleable. (Laughter) I don’t think he any — I don’t think has any fixed opinions that he would really go to — (Laughter) — to the White House and fight for. On the other hand, Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right wing policies, in my opinion that would be pursued aggressively if and when he might become president.”
