CNN anchor Jake Tapper and others were stunned by the revelation that ex-Trump fixer Michael Cohen “stole money” from the Trump Organization — which the prosecution failed to bring up on direct.
Court resumed Monday morning in the Stormy Daniels hush money-election interference trial after a week that see-sawed between damaging direct examination of Cohen and cross-examinations by Trump attorney Todd Blanche that took chunks out of Cohen and his credibility.
