Christie: Trump Skipped Debate Due to ‘Hissy Fit’

“I appreciate you coming today. We have a lot of work to do between now and Monday. This is second town hall today. I have go two more after this. I am doing 17 events in the next three days. We are gong to be in every part of Iowa to answer your questions in the same way I answered the questions of those moderators last night. And by the way, I won last night. You deserve better than to have somebody take a little hissy fit and walk away and not show up at the debate. OK? You deserve better than that. (Applause) It was really quite a performance, wasn’t it? I have taken my [indecipherable] and I am going home. Well, guess what? When you are president, you don’t get to do that. And if you do it is going to cost American lives, American fortune, and American reputation. So, you invite me, I show up. You give me a microphone, I talk. And you raise you hand and ask me a question and I answer. And that’s what leaders are supposed to do because we work for you not the other way around.”
