Scarborough Battles Harold Ford Jr. over Clinton and E-mail Scandal

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

SCARBOROUGH: “Hillary Clinton knowingly openly set up an unsecured server at her home. There’s no doubt. Knowingly had classified information.”
FORD JR.: “Joe you have to agree with him.”
SCARBOROUGH: “While, no, I don’t agree with him at all. While she was secretary of state and while classified information at the highest levels were passing through this unsecured server. Going against clear regulations that Obama had put in 2009.”
FORD JR.: “I agree with a big part of what she said. She set up a server. You cannot deny what chuck has said. I don’t think general.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Don’t tell me I can’t because I just did.”
FORD JR.: “Based on what you said, I know how smart you are. Disagree. He knowingly shared. Put aside all the other facts.”
SCARBOROUGH: “And Hillary Clinton knowingly exposed classified information at the highest levels to hackers by setting up a home server and beyond that there was a fax that mark brought up a couple of days ago that was in the paper a day or two ago where somebody was trying to send her classified material and when it couldn’t be sent over the fax, he said if you can’t send it over the classified fax, send it over electronically.”
FORD JR.: “General gave it to someone who was not. She was saying send it across because it’s going to get to me.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Please, stop trying to set chuck and my up.” 
FORD JR.: “I don’t disagree with that. Someone knowingly giving it to this person and maybe that person can intercept it is very different.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Well, let’s wait and actually see how this turns out.”
FORD JR.: “I don’t think general Petraeus should have gone through all this.”
SCARBOROUGH: “I made my decision three or four months ago that on this story we were going to let it lie because the FBI is either going to charge her or they’re not going to charge her. If they don’t.
TODD: “And they shouldn’t”
SCARBOROUGH: “Harold.”
FORD JR.: “And they shouldn’t. That’s my opinion.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Harold, you are a G-D lawyer.
TODD: “What does that mean?”
SCARBOROUGH: “I can’t say it on the air. How can you say as a lawyer.”
FORD JR.: “We had a conversation off air yesterday.”
SCARBOROUGH: “How can you say Hillary Clinton should not be charged when you have no idea what evident the lawyers at the justice department are looking at?”
FORD JR.: “I would agree on that point. Don’t criticize me personally like you just did.”
SCARBOROUGH: “Let the investigation run its course.”
FORD JR.: “Then agree with Chuck. What we know now, you cannot say what you’re saying.”
SCARBOROUGH: “I will say it again. Let me finish. Chuck, I concluded three months ago.”
TODD: “With no evidence.”
BRZEZINSKI: “Hold on. Right here.”
SCARBOROUGH: “I concluded three months ago that we should just let this lie for the most part because the FBI is either going to charge her or they’re not going to charge her. If they don’t —“
TODD: “I agree.”
SCARBOROUGH: “OK, you should have let me finish the first three times. If they don’t charge her nothing at a said on the political sphere or on TV is going to matter. If they charge her then nothing her defenders say is going to matter. This is entirely in the FBI’s hands. The rest of us here today we just wasted five minutes.”
TODD: “By the way, all this talk from what I understand, I think, there’s been talk of stripping general Petraeus of a star but my understanding is, it’s not going to happen.”
GEIST: “There’s more resent development in the last couple of days for the Clinton campaign that said this inspector general who was appointed and confirmed was working with the Republicans and congress. They’re saying he’s leaking information. They got an inspector general and one of most important appointees President Obama appointed and there’s two quick theories on that.”
TODD: “One, maybe the IG is trying to sometimes, they do this because they’re trying to alert the FBI. Sometimes they think they’re not going to do something or think that’s right.”
SCARBOROUGH: “And Harold, I don’t want to say this but I’m just going to put it out on the table. It’s not something I would say around my mom. I hope she’s not watching today. G-D, you know what it stands for, you’re from the south. You’re a gosh darn lawyer and a good one at that. I love you too, baby.”
