Since then, we have seen a report of widespread murders, kidnappings and sexual violence . the United Nations says hundreds of thousands of haitians have been displaced. Aid groups say there are millions of people in need of aid. 1.4 million people on the verge of famine, according to the aid groups. Certainly, this additional money 5 million those in aid will be important if they are able to get to the folks. Things like food, relief efforts, medical care and all of that. The question is, how do you get that aid and make it most efficient when the government there is effectively shut down?”
