Mitchell: Sanders ‘Has a Much Better Organization’ Here in S.C. than Thought

SCARBOROUGH: “What was your take away from the debate last night?”
MITCHELL: “Well, that Bernie Sanders is really going after her on Wall Street on all those connections. He sees it’s working for him in Iowa. And I was told by the -- and Chuck as well after the debate -- that he has a much better organization here in South Carolina, which is counter intuitive because everyone’s been talking about South Carolina as being her firewall when they come south after the first three other three contests. The fact is that he’s doing much better here as well which is surprising and that’s depending on what happens in Iowa exactly two weeks from today, it could really turn this race around. It was a very combative contest particularly on health care. One reason was Clinton was hammering him for not having details on his Medicare for all, for the single payer plan, and he came out with the details at 7:00 PM eastern so she went after him on that.”
