Gov. LePage: ‘I’m Not Going to Apologize ... Because Maine Is 95 Percent White’

"I made one slip-up, I made one word -- I might have made many slip-ups. I was going impromptu in my brain, didn't catch up to my mouth. Instead of saying Maine women, I said white women. If you -- and I'm not going to apologize to the Maine women for that, because if you go to Maine, you will see that we are essentially 95 percent white. Am I perfect? No. Do I want to be perfect? No, because if I was perfect, I'll be a reporter."
