COLBERT: “On his birthday, Biden received a festive bouquet of terrible poll numbers. In fact, his approval rating has declined to the lowest level of his presidency, 40%. 40%. Still, pretty good for an 81-year-old guy running around town with poll numbers less than half his age. Know what I mean? I don’t know what I mean. I don’t know why you would know what I mean. Biden still has plenty of supporters, and here’s what they love about him. He’s not somebody much worse. Biden voters say they are more motivated by their desire to stop Trump than by support of the president. Well, yeah. Nobody buys a fire extinguisher because they’re big fans of pressurized foam.”
