Santorum: ‘Most Muslims Are Not Confronting the Cancer’ of Radicals

‘Most of them are not and that’s a problem’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

SCARBOROUGH: "Why don't we start with that first. Certainly, all terrorist aren't Muslims. You look at the Planned Parenthood attack, the guy associated himself as a Christian pro-life. So it's what you said not exactly accurate, is it."

SANTORUM: "They are all Muslim and we have to be very, very careful in having and we were talking about the comment about not having proper screening."

SANTORUM: "So many Muslim Americans are extraordinarily wealthy. They make up 10% of the doctors in America. How do we work and at the same time we're stamping out Islamic radicalism and how do we reach out aggressively to let Muslim Americans know they're every bit a part of the American dream as you or me."

SCARBOROUGH: "What are they going to do to reach out to do to confirm they are con frants. Are you suggesting, Rick, that 95% of Muslim Americans are come police it in the acts like San Bernardino."

SANTORUM: "No one's suggesting that. The bottom line the this. There are Muslims in this country who are doing that and going out and trying to establish a reform Islam and trying to deal with the problem of that of Islam. There are many organizations like CARE continuing to apologize for the radicals and have influence and in both of the last two administrations to not bring Islam not out of the seskt century, bring that version of Islam out of the seventh century and do something to move a reform movement. There's a friend of who has been the biggest voice but there's lots of muz lems out there that has tried to confront the cancer and the bottom line is most of them are not and that's a problem. Most Muslims are not confronting the cancer."

SCARBOROUGH: "Most Muslims are not confronting the cancer."

SANTORUM: "No. They're not out there in the world and even here in America, most are not. Most are not."

BRZEZINSKI: "Why aren't you working on white men with guns? I mean come on Rick Santorum. You know better. You're a smart guy. You're telling Muslim Americans they all need to come out and talk about the tiny percentage of their community that has kind of quiet frankly wreaked havoc. Yet you look at the data of white men with guns wreaking havoc on this country. Why don't you call on them to do that?"
