Donna Edwards: DeSantis Is ‘Thin-Skinned and Prickly’ When Responding to Voters; He’s Won’t Get Very Far in the Election That Way

EDWARDS: “Well, Ron DeSantis is really thin-skinned and prickly when it comes to responding to voters. And what that man was asking was whether he bore any kind of responsibility really for creating an environment in which that can happen. He wasn’t accusing him of criminal activity. So, I think Ron DeSantis has created an environment in Florida and around the country where, you know, he’s put race on the line over and over and over again. And so, it’s not surprising that something like that would happen. At least, DeSantis could acknowledge the legitimate question from the voter instead of just being as prickly as he is. He’s not going to get very far in an election that way.”
