Rudy Giuliani: Chris Christie ‘Did a Very, Very Good Job’ in His Press Conference

GIULIANI: “Well I think he did very well in the sense that he held a press conference, he answered all the questions, he gave a very definitive answer, not one of the usual kind of ambiguous answers politicians give when they are in trouble; I can't recall, I might have, I should have, I could have. He said no, we didn't know about it.  I think the press conference -- he did a very, very good job. I also believe him because I think that had he known about this, he never would have made a joke about it earlier. He would have treated it very differently. So I think all in all, a mistake, a political thing that shouldn't have happened, a political retribution that shouldn't have happened carried out by aides that were being too over zealous, I don't know, I think he handled it about as well as he could handle it.”
