MACINTYRE: “I was moved because I want a president that looks at me the way that Mike Pence looks at a Ukrainian.

(Laughter)

I want a president who loves me the way that Mike Pence loves a random Ukrainian he meets when he’s over there. That story about the Stinger missiles, man, I wish I was telling that story about the lives of children and family members saved because the border is secure. I wish I was hearing that story because the police are cracking down on crime and saving lives in American cities. I want a president who cares about the people of this country with that level of intensity. But of course, Mike Pence doesn’t — Mike Pence doesn’t have that, and it seems like all these other candidates so far have waffled on that in some degree, some of them better, some of them worse.”
