Cruz: Under President Obama We Have Neither ‘Liberty or Security’

"I want to talk to you today about the liberty and security in an age of terror. For seven years, we have seen liberty and security going away in the Obama administration. There are many in the media who tells us that there is a trade off, that you can either have liberty or security. Well, under President Obama we get neither.  

Under President Obama, the federal government is targeting liberty of individual law abiding citizens and at the same times it's not standing up to our enemies. And what the Obama administration gets wrong is has a hard time distinguishing between bad guys and good guys. (Applause)

The Obama's administration approach is to go after the constitutional rights of the law abiding citizens and at the same time fail to go after the terrorists. (Applause) Let me tell you, our liberties, there is a critical part of what we are safe. We are secure because we can speak out and because we are armed."(Applause)
