Huckabee: No Gun Law Would Have Stopped the San Bernardino Shooting

‘Tell me what gun law you have in mind that would have stopped it because there isn’t one’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:

DOOCY: "So the president last night said we need more gun laws. Hillary Clinton said the same thing. it seems to all be concerted from the Left. Here she is on with George Stephanopoulos, who used to work for us."
[clip starts]
CLINTON: "We have to up our game against terrorists abroad and at home, and we have to take account of the fact that our gun laws and the easy access to those guns by people who shouldn't get them, mentally ill people, fugitives, felons, and the congress continuing to refuse to prohibit people on the no-fly list from getting guns, which include a lot of domestic and international terrorists. we need to have comprehensive background checks. we need to close the gun show loophole. close the online loophole. Go after what's called the Charleston loophole. and end the liability for gun sellers."
[clip ends]
DOOCY: "Would any other gun laws have prevented what happened last week?"
HUCKABEE: "When people ask me like that, I ask them, tell me which gun law you have in mind that would have stopped it? because there isn't one and that's the problem. I think the answer is tell Americans be prepared to defend themselves, be prepared to go after these people. Because at some point, they're going to come to our streets if we don't start talking realistically."
