Biden: Congressional Leaders Agree, ‘There Will Be No Default’

BIDEN: “I made it clear time and again, defaulting on our national debt is not an option. The American people deserve to know that the Social Security payments will be there, the veterans hospitals will remain open, and the economic progress that we’ve made, we’re going to continue to make it. Default puts all that at risk. Congressional leaders understand that and they’ve all agreed, there will be no default. It is time for Congress to act now.”
