On Fox News Sunday, House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Rogers (R-MI) denounced today’s report in the New York Times arguing that there is no evidence of al Qaeda involvement in the 2012 Benghazi attack, and refused to answer host Chris Wallace’s speculation that the report might have been meant to exonerate Hillary Clinton before a 2016 presidential run.

“I don’t know that it was an exhaustive investigation,” Rogers said, contrasting the Times’ report with the amount of research undertaken by the congressional inquiry.
