The Chris Salcedo Show Preamble: The Biased Press, Narrative Over News

SALCEDO: “So, what’s the lesson here? Well, there are several. First, the vast majority of the press isn’t telling you the truth. They have an agenda, a decidedly left-wing agenda, and doing what’s best for you and your family isn’t part of any left-wingers agenda. Another lesson: Even though the vast majority of the press is left-wing, they won’t be honest and admit it. And lastly, Americans need to learn to differentiate between news and propaganda. Here’s a way you can tell. When President Donald Trump was in office, CNN had a counter showing the number of deaths from the China virus. They took that counter away once Joe Biden took over. Joe Biden has overseen more China virus deaths in the same time frame as compared to President Trump, but CNN didn’t want you to know that. Narrative over news. Here’s another example: 'The Washington Post' had a running tally of alleged lies told by President Trump, but they stopped tallying presidential lies when Joe Biden got into office. As we have chronicled many times here on 'The Chris Salcedo Show,' Joe Biden is a serial liar. 'The Washington Post' just didn’t want their readers to know. Narrative over news. Lastly, notice how the press hypes up mass shootings, but rarely elevates the thousands of incidents where good guys with guns save the day. I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty that your Second Amendment right of self-defense is in no way responsible for gun violence. Democrats' soft-on-crime policies are responsible. But unlike like the biased press, I’m committed to telling you the complete truth, especially letting you know my conservative bias. That’s so you can filter what I say through the proper lens. How many dedicated Democrats in the press have admitted to their audiences that they are left-wingers. The answer is none. It’s because they traffic and narrative and call it news."
