Joel Osteen Says the So-Called ‘War on Christmas’ Is Slightly Overblown

‘I’m open to respect everyone, and it’s not going to offend me if I pray in Jesus’ name and somebody doesn’t’

Even Joel Osteen Thinks the War on Christmas™ Is Greatly Exaggerated (Mediaite)

How overblown is the War on Christmas™? Even celebrity Evangelical preacher Joel Osteen thinks it’s been completely exaggerated, and told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday yesterday that he’s not as offended as other Christians are about the “Happy Holidays” vs. “Merry Christmas” debate.

Certain commentators on Fox News have been at the forefront of the War on Christmas™, and other preachers who have been on the network have gladly joined in, but Osteen took a different route.

He said that “certain groups” always try to take action during the Christmas season, but “it’s not gonna change the faith in our hearts, so, you know, I’m probably not as concerned about it as some others.”
