John Bolton on FBI Raid: ‘The Questions that Are Being Raised Have No Bearing on Reality’

BOLTON: "Well, I think in -- in many political contexts, the preemptive attack is -- is -- is the way to go. You strike first before the other side can define the issue. And I think the Justice Department is now being subjected to a pretty effective preemptive attack. It's got a very difficult path to walk here. I want to -- I want to emphasize, I’m not diminishing the difficulty of them saying anything publicly, but I think the nature of the times we’re in -- forget -- forget Joe Biden and the White House, that’s not the issue here. The issue is former Judge Merrick Garland and the integrity of the men and women, the lawyers, the FBI agents, everybody who works at the department is being called into question. And it's -- I think, the questions that are being raised have no bearing on reality.”
