Chuck Todd: Obama’s Last-Minute ObamaCare Change Is a ‘Slap in the Face’

MITCHELL: “The change rather was announced quietly last night after East Coast evening newscasts. Joining me now, Chuck Todd, NBC News Chief White House Correspondent, host of ‘The Daily Rundown.’ Chuck, first of all they put this out after 8:00 last night, and after an extensive briefing for reporters on health care, and the problems, and the fixes. Are they trying to slide this in under the deadline?”
TODD: “You know, it's what it looks like, Andrea. I mean it really is sort of, whether they intended to or not, a bit of a slap in the face. They promised this background briefing on health care -- essentially was designed, everything you needed to know before the December 23rd deadline, and lo and behold, four hours later they announced, oh, by the way, there's one more little change."
