Andy Puzder: President Biden’s Policies ‘Will Just Exacerbate Inflation’

VARNEY: “Andy, will President Biden’s policies bring inflation down? What do you say?"
PUZDER: "No, they will just exacerbate inflation. He can’t bring it down. He can’t politically bring it down. He could bring it down if we inspired businesses to increase supply so that supply would meet demand by maybe cutting regulations, cutting taxes, focusing on domestic energy production. That would help. Or if he stopped this, the government largess, the government handing out all these dollars. But now he wants to even forgive student debt which Larry Summers came out and said would put $100 billion into the economy, which is exactly the wrong policy. So, no, his policies will have just the opposite effect. We’re in for inflation for quite a while."
