And speaking of protecting the vulnerable, David Leonhardt in his New York Times letter this morning shows a massive gap in Covid deaths now between the unvaccinated and the vaccinated. And specifically, he looks at those counties that went for Donald Trump and those counties that went for Joe Biden. There really wasn’t much of a difference but now if you look at the graph, it is telling that the counties, especially the ones that went for Trump big, have much higher rate of death."
