EMANUEL: “We’re not going to eradicate it. We’re going to have to learn to live with it, just like we learned to live with RSV, Adenovirus, flu. We are not there yet. When you have 140,000 hospitalizations, you have 1,500 deaths a day, you are not at a situation where we can live with it normally. We still have to combat it to bring those -- that mortality rate down to about 100 people a day, to bring the hospitalizations down. But once we’re down, we have to sustain it and we will live with it.”
