Gov. Beshear: Kentucky’s Abortion Trigger Law Is ‘Wrong’

BESHEAR: "Well, as a former prosecutor and the state’s top prosecutor, I saw the toughest of the toughest cases. Rape, incest, human trafficking, and Kentucky’s law would eliminate any choice, any options for those most victimized people in our society. I believe that’s wrong. And I believe even most of the people in Kentucky believe that’s wrong. So I would hope we would see a change, but I would certainly veto anything that doesn’t provide options in the very least for those individuals."
