Rep. Jamaal Bowman on If U.S. Can Just Keep Printing Money for Socialist Spending: ‘Yes, We Can’

REPORTER: "This is — this is a perfect segue way to talk about the infrastructure bill. Can we write checks for anything we want? I mean, that’s really the question in this case. You know, you’re talking about a climate change and the child tax credit, helping families. I mean, a whole list of considerations potentially in the $3.5 trillion being asked for. Of course, the kickback is you can’t just keep printing money. So, can we keep printing money and say well, you know, $3.5 trillion, why not $4 trillion? Because you can probably find uses for that money has well." 

BOWMAN: "So yes, we can."
