BERMAN: "Breaking overnight, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky breaking from the team of agency's vaccine advisers to recommend COVID-19 booster shots for a broader group of people that includes teachers, healthcare workers and others whose frontline jobs put them at higher risk for Covid. The CDC also recommended boosters for people 65 and older, residents of long-term care facilities, and people 50 to 64 with underlying medical conditions. The extra vaccine dose can be given once they are six months past their second Pfizer shot."
