Democrat Rep. Frederica Wilson: Haitian Immigrants Are Hearing ‘The Border Is Open’

WILSON: "There are cottage industries that have grown around the border where we have people, smugglers who are passing information to Haitian refugees, Haitian immigrants, that come, the border is open. So they have saved their money. They have paid. Some of them just speak Spanish, they're coming from Chile. They’re coming from Brazil. They have worked there. So this is all something that the federal government as a whole must work through."
