McCaul: Terrorism Spreading ‘Like Wildfire’ (Washington Free Beacon)

House Homeland Security Committee chairman Rep. Mike McCaul (R., Texas) argued on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday that terrorism is spreading like “wildfire” throughout parts of the world.

“I personally see it spreading like a spider web, like a wildfire through Northern Africa and the Middle East,” McCaul said. “As that threat increases overseas, so too does it increase in the homeland.”

McCaul also took a shot at the  administration saying President Obama has created a “false narrative and premise” by saying that Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations are on the run.
