Psaki: ‘Making It Harder to Vote Is Un-American’

‘Even many Republicans across the country oppose the efforts that have been taken in states like Georgia’

EXCERPT:

PSAKI: "As the president conveyed yesterday, he feels that voting rights are pushing — pushing back on voting rights, making it harder to vote is un-American. It is something that should not be a part of society in any regard. Even many Republicans across the country oppose the efforts that have been taken in states like Georgia to make it more difficult. He will certainly continue to vocalize that as he did quite passionately yesterday. He met with Stacey Abrams when he was in Georgia. And he will of course use his role as president to engage with them, work with members of Congress and leaders to help to move these pieces of legislation forward into the Senate."
