Brazil President on NSA Spying: I Told Obama If He Wants Information Just Call Me (RealClearPolitics)

At a joint press conference with President Obama at the White House today, Dilma Rousseff, president of Brazil, addressed the spy scandal that prompted her to cancel a trip to the U.S. 

In 2013, it was revealed the National Security Agency targeted and spied on Rousseff causing strained relations between Brazil and the United States. Obama has assured Rousseff this will not happen again.

"I believe President Obama," Rousseff said. "Furthermore, should he ever need non-public information about Brazil, he would just pick up the phone and call me."
