CEI: ‘Today’s Ruling Is a Tragedy for the Rule of Law in this Country’

Kazman: ‘Today’s ruling is the tragedy for the rule of law in this country’

KAZMAN: “Today's ruling is a tragedy for the rule of law in this country. In a 6-3 decision the Supreme Court has twisted and somersaulted on traditional rules and statutory interpretation and essentially allowed the IRS to rewrite the very statute that Congress enacted."

POLLACK: "Make no mistake about this; today's decision has monumental significance. It means that the Affordable Care Act is not just the law of the land, it will remain the law of the land."

JACKSON: "We are thankful here today that the courts upheld this and realized that with -- affordable care is not just for -- I don't know, it is for everybody and it should be. It would have affected over six million people had they not agreed to this. But now we don't need to worry about this anymore."

BRASE: "There are 37 states who could have been freed from ObamaCare’s mandates and penalties, who will not now be free and their employers will not be free from the mandates and penalties and there will be likely fewer job opportunities and lower hours. So this was an opportunity for freedom and a rule of law that the Supreme Court missed."
