Obama to Heckler at White House LGBT Pride Event: ‘You’re in My House!’

‘Can we have this person removed please?’

At tonight's LGBT Pride Month Celebration at the White House, the president was interrupted by a heckler for almost three minutes. Seemingly unable to control the situation, the president eventually asked security, "Can we escort this person out?"

"No, no, no, no, no!" Obama implored. "It's not respectful when you get invited to someone's house."

Eventually the crowd began trying shouting down the heckler with chants of "Obama! Obama!"

"I'm just going to wait until we get this done," the president said, waiting for the chaos to die down.

"In general I am fine with a few hecklers," the president said after security removed the protester. "But not when I'm up in the House. Because, my attitude is, if you're eating the hors d'oeuvres, you know what I'm saying? And drinking the booze!"
