The day after Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president, former President Bill Clinton defended her tenure as Secretary of State, saying "I don't know" if people or governments who donated to the Clinton family foundation sought anything.

"Nobody even suggested it or talked about it or thought about it until the political season began and somebody said, well, what about this?" Bill Clinton told CNs "State of the Union" with Jake Tapper. "No one had ever asked me for anything, or any of that."
