Tim Murtaugh: Twitter is Holding President Trump to a Different Standard than Everyone Else

MURTAUGH: "There’s no question that Twitter, as a specific example, is a way that the President connects directly with millions of Americans. He has over 70 million followers on Twitter. But that said, Twitter is applying one standard for President Trump and another standard for pretty much everyone else, including Joe Biden. They are not going to be fact-checking any of the obvious lies that Joe Biden has told about President Trump. And, in fact, they let the Chinese Communist Party get away with their factually suspect claims on Twitter without putting any scrutiny on them. So we’ve known for a long time that Silicon Valley has it in for conservatives in general and for President Trump specifically, and so we just have to make sure that we try to hold Twitter to account and point out the things that Joe Biden and the Chinese communists are saying, that absolutely have to bear scrutiny. If you're going to have rules, you have to apply them to everybody."
