Kiron Skinner: WHO Parroted Chinese Propaganda, Lost Credibility on Coronavirus

‘This international body needs to reclaim some credibility by distancing itself from CPC rhetoric and propaganda’

EXCERPT:

SKINNER: “The more we learn, the more we find out that the World Health Organization has not been acting completely as an independent U.N. entity in the Coronavirus outbreak. It was -- it’s been late to come to the table, revealing that there was human to human contact that could lead to the spread of this disease process, and it has really parroted the Chinese communist party's line in every possible direction. It has lost credibility as a result. Some of the factors, however, are structural that WHO faces, such as the fact that it relies on member organizations or states for data and analysis. And we have to change that. And I think President Trump is looking at possibly holding back U.S. funding for WHO until it makes some of the reforms, but immediately, this international body needs to reclaim some credibility by distancing itself from CPP rhetoric and propaganda."
