But that’s what elections are about. What is your vision for the future? What do you know about our challenges? How strategic are you to get the job done? How do you connect with the kitchen table needs of the American people? That the vitality of a democracy, having disagreements is part of that. Our Founders certainly had their disagreements, but I feel sad that the President doesn’t have confidence in his own party that vote by mail would deter any future elections. No. I don’t think that’s the case."
