MELE: "Two of the biggest Las Vegas chains will close all hotels and casinos by tomorrow. MGM Resorts will stop casino operations today. It already shut down some slot machines. The company will start laying off workers next week. Wynn Resorts will pay employees through the shutdown. The owners of the Venetian and the Palazzo Hotels say they will stay open.”
