Andrea Mitchell: Hillary Campaign Taking Poor Poll Numbers ‘Very Seriously’

‘Today the campaign has gone up with a new website and new social media campaign to try to debunk the “Clinton Cash” book’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
DIAZ-BALART: "Andrea, the new numbers, Hillary Clinton's unfavorability rating is now 42%, just 25% of voters say she's honest and straight forward. 13-point drop since last summer. How serious are these numbers, Andrea, being taken by the campaign?"
MITCHELL: "Very serious. In fact, today the campaign has gone up with a new website and new social media campaign to try to debunk the "Clinton cash" book, which is officially released today. They are taking it so seriously, they are trying to go after it rather than brushing it off or dismiss the author as a Republican antagonist. They are going to go point by point, because they feel they need to deal with continuing problems, which are overshadowing days like today. I'm standing at rancho high school here outside Las Vegas, which is 70% hispanic, Jose. She will be unveiling her policy on immigration, a path to citizenship, she's going to be meeting with dreamers, and here this is going to be overshadowed again today by all of these continuing questions trailing her, and mark Murray knows this so well just by looking at poll numbers."
