Schumer: ‘We’re Not Like Mitch McConnell’ to Coordinate with House Managers

REPORTER: "How much coordination are you having with the House managers as they present their case?"
SCHUMER: "Not very much. Now, we are not -- we are not like McConnell. We are not secretive or close to the vest. Three weeks ago I sent a letter to McConnell and to every member of the caucus saying we wanted votes on these 7 -- we want to be 7 votes, it was four on witnesses, three on document and we ended up putting two together that were related, Duffey and Blair, and then yesterday I said we're going -- I said publicly we are going to try and undo some of the most egregious parts of McConnell’s deviation from the Clinton plan, most particularly we are want to undo the situation where we are not able to vote on witnesses and documents afterwords.
