Waters: Trump’s ‘Causing this Nation To Be an Unsafe Situation’ for Black Americans Will Motivate Their Voting

‘We want this president out of office’

RUSH EXCERPT:

WATERS: “Well, I am comfortable that the democratic national committee tried to put together the criteria that was necessary in order to reduce the number of people in the debate. I think they really did try. And yes, I am disappointed that we don’t have African-American or people of color that are absolutely involved in the debate and in this campaign, I am hopeful that we could continue to try and figure out how to make sure that we have a debate in the future that will include more people of color and more diversity. I do think the democratic national committee did the best job they could possibly do. Where he, our presidential candidates are trying to appeal to African-Americans. African-Americans will determine who gets the nomination in this Democratic Party. That’s very important. We are going to turn out to vote and we are going to turn out to vote big. We are going to turn out to vote because we know where our best interests lie. It certainly does not lie with the Republican Party. We are concerned about all of the issues that you heard so much about whether it is healthcare or dealing with the my. We are concerned of those issues. We want this president out of office. We do not want this president to be reelected. He has not been fair and dangerous and he’s causing this country to be an unsafe situation and so that too is going to be motivation for if African-American community.”
