Iraqi PM: There Are No Iranian Troops in Iraq Fighting ISIS

ROSE: “There are no Iranians fighting on the ground?”
AL-ABADI: “No.”
ROSE: “Even though there are Iranian advisers.”
AL-ABADI: “Exactly. I think, they don’t fight, they don’t carry arms. They’re not allowed to do that.”
ROSE: “But do they give instructions to the Shiite militia?”
AL-ABADI: “Well, they give advice. Now, I have to be clear on this. If they are giving advice, if they making militias in Iraq as their proxies we consider this as hostile to Iraq.”
ROSE: “Abadi says there will be no additional American boots on the ground, he says Iraq has not asked the administration for more troops.”
