Fox News: Apple Watch Feature Automatically Calls 911 After Hikers Fall Off Ledge

‘This was dangerous’

EXCERPT:

FAULKNER: "Two New Jersey hikers crediting an Apple Watch with saving their lives. They were hiking in the county park when they fell over a cliff and got stranded on the ledge. Hanging, trying to grab trees, whatever they could for dear life for as long as they could. Both injured in the fall. Some of those injuries pretty severe. Help was on the way, an Apple watch had automatically called 911 for them. Now the hiker, James Prudenciano, joins me. James, first of all, God bless you. We were talking during the commercial. This was not only harrowing. This was dangerous. What happened?"
